How important are photographs when trying to sell a magazine article?

Good photos can make or break a deal. Photographers who don't write and writers who do not capture great photos have a long row to hoe when it comes to getting most magazine articles published.

It is possible to use stock photo agencies to illustrate an article.

Some writers and photographers team up from time to time to get published.

Ideally, you should learn to do your own photography and writing if you want to have repetitive sales in the major magazine markets.

In an earlier post I mentioned BookMasters for ebook conversion. I thought you might like to know the type of distribution channels that they have.
